The short answer
Yes, we repair Viking, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador appliances in Westlake Village, about 17 miles west of our Reseda base. We handle refrigerators, freezers, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, dishwashers, wine coolers, outdoor grills, and more, and we explain the problem before any repair begins.
Viking Appliance Services repairs premium kitchen appliances in homes across Westlake Village, about 17 miles west of our base in Reseda. We work on Viking equipment first and foremost, and we also service Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador refrigeration, cooking, and cleanup appliances. If a built-in refrigerator stops cooling, a range burner won't light, or a dishwasher leaves water standing in the tub, we come to your home, find the cause, and explain the repair in plain terms before any work begins. We are an independent service company and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any appliance brand.

How the Local Climate Affects Your Appliances
Los Angeles has a Mediterranean climate with dry summers and mild winters, but inland valleys run much hotter in summer than neighborhoods near the coast. Westlake Village is well inland, and summer heat puts real strain on refrigeration. A Viking or Sub-Zero built-in refrigerator works harder when the kitchen is warm, and a dirty condenser coil or a weak fan motor that went unnoticed in spring often shows up as a warm fresh-food section in July.
Fall Santa Ana winds can bring hot, dry spells, and they also push fine dust indoors. That dust collects on condenser coils, range hood filters, and outdoor grill burners. Wine coolers and freezers in garages or on patios feel the heat most, since they sit outside the conditioned part of the house. If a unit runs constantly, frosts up, or cycles loudly during a heat wave, it's worth having it checked before a small problem turns into a failed compressor or spoiled food.

What to Expect From a Repair Visit
Our technician starts by confirming the symptom with you, then runs the appliance and tests the parts most likely involved. On a Wolf range that won't hold a simmer, that might mean checking the burner valve and igniter. On a Thermador dishwasher that won't drain, it usually starts with the filter, pump, and drain hose.
Once we know the cause, we explain what failed, what the repair involves, and whether the part is on the truck or needs to be ordered. You decide whether to go ahead. If a part has to be ordered, we schedule the return visit as soon as it arrives so a refrigerator or oven isn't out of service longer than it needs to be. We'd rather tell you honestly when a repair doesn't make sense than replace parts that aren't the problem.
Quick Checks Before We Arrive
A few simple checks can save time, and sometimes a visit. Make sure the appliance has power and the breaker hasn't tripped. For gas cooking equipment, confirm the gas supply valve is open. If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas utility first.
- Clean or check the range hood grease filters if the fan sounds weak
- Vacuum the refrigerator's grille area if it's accessible and dusty
- Check that the dishwasher filter isn't clogged with food debris
- Note any error codes or blinking lights on the display
- Write down the model and serial number from the rating plate
