About us

Independent repair focused on premium kitchens

Viking Appliance Services is an independent repair company based in Reseda. We work on high-end residential appliances. Our main focus is Viking ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, and refrigeration, and we also service Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador equipment. These appliances are built differently from standard models. Sealed refrigeration systems, dual-fuel controls, infrared broilers, and integrated cabinet panels all need careful handling. Each visit starts with finding out what is actually wrong. We test components, check any error codes the unit displays, and look at how the appliance is installed, because ventilation and clearances often affect performance. Then we tell you what we found, what the repair involves, and what your options are. That includes telling you when a repair may not make sense. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any appliance brand. Our job is to help you get your kitchen working again with clear information along the way.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you also repair Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Thermador appliances?

Yes. Viking is our main focus, and we also repair Sub-Zero refrigeration and Wolf cooking appliances. We service Thermador ranges, cooktops, ovens, and refrigerators as well. Many kitchens mix these brands, so we can usually look at more than one appliance during the same visit.

Are you affiliated with Viking or any other brand?

No. We're an independent repair company. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Viking, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, or any other manufacturer.

Why does my refrigerator seem to struggle in summer?

Valley neighborhoods like Reseda get much hotter in summer than areas near the coast. Fall Santa Ana winds can also bring hot, dry spells. Built-in refrigerators depend on clean condenser coils and clear airflow to keep up in that heat. Dust buildup, a weak fan, or a failing component often shows up first on the hottest days. We check all of these when we diagnose a cooling problem.

What happens during a service visit?

We ask what you've noticed, inspect and test the appliance, and pinpoint the cause. Then we explain the repair and your options. Work starts only after you approve it.

Should I repair or replace an older appliance?

It depends on the appliance's overall condition, what has failed, and whether parts are still available. Many premium appliances are worth repairing. When one isn't, we'll tell you plainly so you can decide.

Do you repair outdoor grills?

Yes. We work on outdoor grills along with indoor appliances. Common issues include ignition problems, uneven heat, and burner or valve trouble.

What information should I have ready when I contact you?

The brand, the type of appliance, and the model and serial number are all helpful. The number is usually on a tag inside the door, behind a kick plate, or on the frame. A short description of the problem and when it started also helps us prepare.
